Description

NA The requirement is for the Javelin Missile System. It is anticipated that this solicitation will result in a two-year multiyear contract for the missiles, command launch units (CLUs), and battery coolant units (BCUs) with a basic single-year procurement f or all remaining hardware and initial spares. The contract will contain options. It is anticipated that the procurement will be conducted using other than full and open competition pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no othe r supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The contractor for this requirement is the Raytheon/Lockheed Martin Javelin Joint Venture, 6925 Lake Ellenor Drive, Suite 100, Orlando, Florida 32809. The requirement consists primarily of the fol lowing missile rounds, CLUs, field tactical trainers - student stations (FTT-SS), basic skills trainers (BSTs), economic order quantity (EOQ) material, and spares quantities: FY04 - 914 rounds, 120 CLUs, 256 FTT-SS, 59 BSTs, 120 BCUs, spares; FY05 - 1062 rounds, 104 CLUs, 104 BCUs. The following domestic/FMS options are also to be contracted for: FY04 - 1-2987 rounds, 1-300 CLUs, 1-200 FTT-SS, 1-100 BSTs, 1-300 BCUs, spares; FY05 - 1-3000 rounds, 1-300 CLUs, 1-200 FTT-SS, 1-100 BSTs, 1-300 BCUs, spares; FY06 - 1-3000 rounds, 1-300 CLUs, 1-200 FTT-SS, 1-100 BSTs, 1-300 BCUs, spares; FY07 - 1-3000 rounds, 1-300 CLUs, 1-200 FTT-SS, 1-100 BSTs, 1-300 BCUs, spares; FY08 - 1-3000 rounds, 1-300 CLUs, 1-200 FTT-SS, 1-100 BSTs, 1-300 BCUs, spares.
