Description

NA This is a market survey to locate additional sources of supply of the Improved Data Modem (IDM), Model 304 (5895-01-493-4396). The Government is considering the procurement quantity of up to 750 each of this commercial IDM. This market survey does not co nstitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. The current source for this commercial item is Innovative Concepts, Inc. (McLean, VA). Detailed, validated technical data for the manufacture and acceptance of this ite m are not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing this commercial item must so indicate in writing to PM-AEC, ATTN: SFAE-AV-AEC-F (Whitaker), Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5043. The responses must include documentation such as drawings, test r esults and other technical information demonstrating that the supplier can supply the equipment that will be physically and functionally interchangeable with the item from the current supplier of this NSN. Successful suppliers may be required to warrant t hat their IDMs will perform satisfactorily when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
