- U.S. GOVERNMENT SEEKS EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR OFFICE SPACE IN LAWRENCE, KS The General Services Administration (GSA) seeks expression of interest from owners and authorized agents of existing commercial office and related space together with (29) on-site parking spaces and (56) parking spaces within two blocks of the leased space entrance. All space must be contiguous and located on the ground floor. The cost of moving the agency and the build out of space will be a consideration in the award process. AMOUNT: The GSA desires to lease approximately 16,900 rentable square feet of office and laboratory space to fulfill a continuing space requirement. Rentable space must yield approximately 14,750 square feet of BOMA Office Area, available for use by tenant for personnel, furnishings, and equipment. LOCATION: Space must be located near a major highway within the city limits of Lawrence, KS. REQUIRED: All services, supplies, utilities, partitioning, and required tenant alterations are to be provided as a part of the rental consideration. The space offered must conform to GSA requirements for fire and life safety and handicap accessibility. On-site wareyard space may be required. TERM: Space is required as soon as possible. Lease term will be for 10 years, with the Government having termination privileges after 5 years. OWNERS & AGENTS: This is an inquiry for available space and not an invitation to bid.
