Carlton, Contracting Officer, telephone number 256-842-6113 or Fax 256-842-7737. PRON: AX361059AX, NSN: 2995-01-327-7703, PN: 1D851, Quantity 9 each applicable to the UH-1 Airframe/Power Train Unit. F.O. B. Destination with a quantity of 9 each going to New Cumberland, PA, Texarkana, TX and Stockton, CA. This item is restricted to Eaton Aerospace, Cage Code: 97484, because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qua lified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). Required delivery without FA is 9 each 120 DACA. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order t o be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www. redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under SAR information. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation, however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
