Description

The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Pearl Harbor intends on awarding a commercial purchase order in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13.5 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures) for the following: Maintenance and repair of government owned appliances in government owned housing. The required services include various types of service calls, uncrating and prep of new appliances, change outs, delivery and pick ups of household appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, freezers, ice machines, microwaves, compactors, gas grills and air conditioners). The location of the housing units are on the island of O'ahu, Hawaii. The solicitation will include three option periods for a period of performance as follows: Base; 01 July 2003 - 30 June 2004, Option 1; 01 July 2004 - 30 June 2005, Option 2; 01 July 2005 - 30 June 2006, Option 3; 01 July 2006 - 30 June 2007. FAR 52.217-9 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract and FAR 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services will be included in the solicitation. The resulting contract will be based on fixed price per service type with estimated quantities of each service types. This requirement is set aside for 100% Small Businesses. All responsible contractors may obtain a copy of the solicitation and submit a bid. The solicitation will be posted on or about the 5th of May 2003 at this website or through the NECO website at http://www.neco.navy.mil.
