- Description
- Tactical engineering support and test equipment engineering support of deployed U.S. and U.K. MK-5 and MK-6 guidance systems used in the TRIDENT II (D-5) Missile guidance subsystems. CSDL will also process and support MK-6 Pendulous Integrating Gyroscopic Accelerometer (PIGA) fluid, PIGA repair assessment testing, and perform a product assessment/improvement task to assess the ability of the MK-6 guidance system to adapt to new and emerging missions. This Procurement will be issued to the Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, Cambridge, MA, the only known source with the uniquely qualified personnel and facilities in the field of precision guidance design and testing to support the TRIDENT II (D-5) Missile program.
