Description
ID PFH 63-1(4), COUNCIL-CUPRUM ROAD, Payette National Forest, Adams County, Idaho. The work consists of 17.544 km of hot asphalt concrete overlay and subexcavation. The project consists of construction survey & staking; contractor sampling & testing; construction schedules; removal of 270 sq m asphalt pavement; 90 cu m subexcavation; 159 t select borrow; 25 m riprap lined ditch; 45 t roadway aggregate method 1; 7,500 t minor hot asphalt concrete; 450 sq m asphalt pavement milling; remove & reset 200 m guardrail; remove & reinstall 125 m concrete barriers & precast guardrails; 125 m rock protection fence; 123,000 m permanent pavement markings; 600 flagger hours; 200 pilot car hours; and other smaller items of work. Project is located approximately 76 km north of Weiser, Idaho. Work shall be completed by November 10, 2003. Estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. When solicitation documents are issued, the Invitation For Bid (SPECIFICATIONS) AND BIDDER?S PACKET WILL BE AVAILABLE IN ELECTRONIC FORMAT ONLY AT www.wfl.fha.dot.gov/edi/. The following applies only to Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs): The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. DOT?s Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000. DOT?s Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $500,000 with interest at prime rate.
