Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. F49642-03-T-0088. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-09. This is a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System code is 711510 (formerly SIC code 7819) at $6.m size standard. LINE ITEM: 0001 Lighting Services for the USAF Band Tattoo, IAW the attached Statement of Work; Period of Performance: 9 Jun ? 15 Sep 2003, QTY: 1/LO, UNIT PRICE: $_________, EXTENDED PRICE: $_________. INSPECTON AND ACCEPTANCE TERMS: Supplies/services will be inspected by the Government Personnel and accepted at job site. DESCRIPTION/SOW: GENERAL INFORMATION STATEMENT OF WORK FOR LIGHTING SERVICES FOR USAF BAND TATTOOS SECTION TITLE PART I STATEMENT OF WORK PART II EQUIPMENT LIST PART III TENTATIVE SCHEDULE PART I: Description of Services: Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, appropriate number of trained personnel, and other items and services necessary to accomplish all the number items for Lighting Services for USAF Band Tattoos, at the Ceremonial Lawn of Bolling AFB DC 20032. The events will take place on the ceremonial lawn of Bolling AFB. Each event will be 90 minutes in length. It will cover a 150' x 230' parade field. The lighting cues will range from general field coverage to show movement lighting. Under no circumstances can equipment be substituted without written permission from the producer, TSgt Jeb Eaton. The vendor will place all equipment and cabling under the direction of the band's producer. Vendor will provide a programmer proficient on the lighting desk, who will work with the producer to design lighting cues for the events. The times of these cue-writing sessions are TBA. All daily times shall be coordinated with TSgt Jeb Eaton at (202) 767-4095. All prospective offerors shall ensure they can meet the daily schedule prior to placement of bid (see Part III, for schedule). The contractor shall provide all equipment under Part II of the statement of work and to include: Four spotlight operators, One programmer, Six electricians, All personnel for setup strike and run of equipment, A Clear COM System with seven headsets and belt packs, and All plat-forming, scaffolding or other necessary devices. Security Requirements: All personnel employed by the contractor in the performance of this contract, or any representative of the contractor entering the installation, shall abide by all security regulations and instructions of the installation. The contract shall obtain personnel identification passes for all employees and vehicle passes for all contractor and personal vehicles entering Bolling AFB, DC. The contractor shall submit through the contracting officer all personnel name and social security number. The contractor shall submit through the 11th Security Forces: vehicle registration, proof of insurance, and a valid drivers license. PART II: Equipment List: QTY Description 8 30? Tall scaffold towers with adjustable legs and plywood base pads. Towers must have enough decking for all levels. Top level will hold spotlights. Safety railings and canopy should be provided for top levels. Spansets 20 5/8? shackles 4 Strong 2.5 kW Gladiator Followspots 8 Mole Fay 8-liters, with 2 spares 18 NSP Maxibrute flood units, with 2 spares 26 Martin Mac 2000 Profile Units, with 2 spares 26 Martin Mac 2000 Wash Units, with 2 spares 2 6-lamp lamp bars with 1kw Par 64 MFL lamps (12 lamps total) 6 1kw MFL Par 64 NSP units, with 2 spares 56 1kw MFL Par 64, with 2 spares 58 8 lb Floor Bases, with 2 spares 2 MA Lighting Grand MA lighting consoles with monitors, 1 backup included.
