Description: NA PRON 802MSSMTD1D2, Noun: the U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command intends to award a contract for coverage of CAV II system installation, physical inventories, and reporting from within Smiths Industries Actuation System, Inc., repair and return facility. This requirement is in response to a Joint Logistics Service Center (JLSC) mandate to the U.S. Army (AMC HQ) to implement cited CAV II system and establish accountability of Depot level Reparable at commercial contractor facilities. The unique informati on needed to initiate various types of CAV transactions, as well as maintain an accurate inventory of on-site AMCOM components exists only at Smiths facility and is not available within the Government at this time. Approved source is Smiths Industries Act uation system, Inc., 100 Algonquin Parkway, Whippany, NJ 07981-1640, Cage Code: 81039.
