Description

NA This pre-solicitation and solicitation synopsis is for a construction contract to repair/renovate bathrooms in Bldgs 5, 6, 8, 12, and 15, at Tobyhanna Army Depot. Work to include, but is not limited to: selective demolition of existing restroom facilities and minor modifications to existing layout; replacement of plumbing fixtures and selective piping; installation of new floor, wall and ceiling finishes; modification to the fire alarm system and ventilation equipment for the restrooms; electrical modificat ions and repair including replacement of electrical fixtures and equipment for the restrooms; incidental related work. Estimated magnitude is between $500,000-$1,000,000. NAICS is 23621(Industrial Bldg Construction), average annual receipts $28.5 million. Solicitation number DAAB17-03-B-0004 applies. This solicitation, including specifications and drawings, will be issued electronically only. Any amendments will also be issued electronically only. No paper or disk will be available. Issue is in accordance w ith FAR 4.502, 5.102(d), and 14.205-1(a). Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after issue date at the following internet address: https://abop.monmouth.army.mil/. At the ABOP, at NEW USERS, follow instructions to register. After obtain ing a password(usually provided within 24 hours), go to ABOP and under ARMY SOLICITATIONS SELECT CECOM. View solicitation by choosing SEARCH, enter DAAB17-03-B-0004 and hit SEARCH. It is incumbent that any interested sources periodically access the interne t site to obtain any amendment. Failure to obtain amendments and/or acknowledge amendments by the time set for bid opening may result in rejection of your bid. Due to the use of electronic solicitation, the Government is unable to maintain a bidders mailin g list. Bidders are further notified that bids m ust be submitted in HARD COPY ONLY. ELECTRONIC BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Estimated issue/opening dates are 27 MAY 2003/26 JUN 2003.
