Description
The Naval Sea Systems Command has a requirement for 165 Scalable Integrated Bridge Systems (IBS), in a basic quantity of 75 systems with three options for 30 systems each, together with electronic technical manuals, spares, crew training, Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD), and engineering and technical support of installation services. The IBS will be procured in various configurations, installed in fourteen different ship classes, and shall be environmentally (shock, vibration, temperature, humidity and electro-magnetic interference) qualified to the specific requirements for the intended ship types. The following requirements pertain:  Equipment shall be rack mounted and include environmentally qualified workstations, and one non-qualified planning station.  Systems shall include copies of the Voyage Management System (VMS) computer software and licenses. Displays for the workstations shall be bulkhead or overhead mountable, and environmentally qualified as such.  Systems shall include electronic technical manuals.  Systems shall meet all requirements in OPNAV Instruction 9420.2 and associated documentation for ECDIS-N compliance.  All training and logistics support shall be compatible with existing Navy programs of record. The IBS will be procured sole source from the designer and developer of the Integrated Bridge System and Voyage Management System, Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems, Sperry Marine, 1070 Seminole Trail, Charlottesville, VA 22901.
