- NASA/KSC has a follow on requirement for management training services. NASA/KSC intends to purchase these services from The Performance Knowledge Group, LLC, for follow on training workshops with the topics ?Defining Measures to Align Work Domain & Objectives? and ?Using Measures to Drive Performance Improvement?. The content will be tied to existing KSC strategic management products such the center-wide scorecard, process maps, and work procedures. The referenced source has engaged in a four-year training and education partnership with KSC, and seven years of work with KSC?s strategic and program management process. This source has the unique ability to base the training content on this previous work and experience with NASA and KSC, and tie the content to existing KSC strategic management products. The Government intends to acquire a commercial service using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on Friday, May 16, 2003. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. An Ombudsman has been appointed.
