- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard intends to procure One (1) Complete Conference package In the Portsmouth Virginia area. This notice is a solicitation for commercial services in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Therefore, please read this entire notice, the instructions herein, and the attachment documents carefully. This acquisition will be made on an unrestricted basis. SCOPE: Five Star Quality Hotel In the Portsmouth, Virginia area; Dates: November 2-6, 2003; 65 rooms with available room upgrades; One (1) General Session Room to hold 70 people (banquet style with large screen; Three (3) Breakout Rooms to hold 25 people each with Two (2) Flip chart paper on easels; One (1) Staff Office to hold Ten (10) people; One (1) Large copier that sorts; Seven (7) Telephone Lines, Two (2) which must be high speed Internet ready; One (1) Wireless Microphone With Lighted Podium. HOW TO RESPOND: In order to compete for this project, interested parties must submit a proposal via certified mail, fax or e-mail, by 12:00 (noon) ET May 25, 2002, to Michael Smith, USCG Headquarters Support Command, Code A-3, Room B411, 2100 Second St. SW, Washington, DC 20593. Electronic transmissions to mwsmith@comdt.uscg.mil are encouraged and must be timely. Proposal Evaluation Criteria: (1) Technical Factors (2) Past Performance (3) Price and price related factors (Firm-Fixed Price). This will be a Best-Value award determination. Price will be a factor but technical factors are far more important. The following Federal Acquisition Regulations clauses are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Aug 00), 52.212-4 (Aug 00). Offerors can also retrieve more information on these clauses on the INTERNET at www.arnet.gov. 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Aug 00) is attached.
