Description
NSN: 2840-01-447-2846PR P/N: 1276M30G02 Noun: Turbine Aircraft Case Item Description: The cooling cover is round in shape. The cover forms part of the turbine case axial. The part is used on the nozzle assembly. The function is to distribute the flow of cooling air to the outer platform and vane aft circuits of the HPT nozzle assembly. The dimensions are 2.383 Wide 29.896 to 29.900DD. The material consists of B50TF 15CL Inconel 718. Applicable to: F110 Engine Destination: FB2039 Delivery: November 2003 Best Estimated Qty: 60 The following Quantity Ranges will be solicited: 10-40, 41-71 and 72 - 102. Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 Oct 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(A) do not apply. Qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation will identify the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 27 May 2003. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 26 June 2003. These are APPROXIMATE DATES. SEE THE ACTUAL SOLICITATION FOR THE APPROPRIATE DATES. The anticipated award date will be 31 July 2003. Written and electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. To: GEAE. To: Gentz Ind Inc. To: Turbocombuster Technology, Inc. No telephone requests. The solicitation will be posted to FedBizOpps and must be obtained from that website. Drawings will be available after the solicitation is issued. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
