Description

Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Acquisition Department, Norfolk VA (FISC Norfolk), intends to procure through a competitive 8(a) set aside contract, non-personal technical management, administrative, and technical services, materials, tools, equipment, facilities (machine shop and warehouse), and support services to accomplish trouble analysis, repair and maintenance of auxiliary hull, mechanical, and electrical (HM&E) equipment and systems onboard US Government vessels located pier side. The award of a Time & Materials, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity, Requirements type contract with a base period and four option years is expected. Services will be performed within a 60-mile radius of the Naval Operations Base, Norfolk, Virginia. The contract will begin 01 Oct 2003 and the estimated level of effort for the first year is 36,710 man-hours of direct labor. The applicable North American Industry Classification System code is 336611. All responsible sources submitting a timely proposal shall be considered. The slicitation may require the submission of cost/price and technical data; and oral presentation of technical proposal. The solicitation will be available electronically on or about 30 May 2003.
