Description

The purpose of this Amendment 004, for vendors interested in providing a Hydraulic press brake is to extend the date for receipt and evaluation of quotations until May 19, 2003, 2 p.m. Eastern Standard Time at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, 14th and C Streets, SW, Washington, DC 20228. The Government specification is amended as follows: The offered press brake may not exceed 120 inches or the metric equivalent in length or 15,000 pounds or the metric equivalent in weight, due to space and floor strength at the BEP. The offered machinery is expected to be functionally equivalent to the Wysong Model II MTH 100-120, as well as in meeting the above weight and size limitations. Existing quotations need not be resubmitted from a technical standpoint unless needed to offer an alternative product which fully meets BEP requirements. Due to the issuance of this amendment, existing quoters may also utilize this opportunity to offer improved pricing to the Government, if they wish to do so. There are no changes to this requirement.
