- Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions FAR Subpart 5.2 - The 45th Space Wing announces our intent to issue a solicitation request for proposal on or about 30 May 03 for Florida 8(a) firms capable of providing Military Family Housing Maintenance services at Patrick AFB. Services include, however are not limited to, furnishing all labor, transportation, tools, materials, equipment, supervision, administration and other items and services necessary to perform the following: maintenance management, service calls, change of occupancy maintenance, recurring interior and exterior facilities maintenance, playground equipment maintenance, pest control treatment, termite damage repair, roof repair, interior and exterior painting, maintenance of military U-FIX-IT store, equipment purchase, repair and residential heating, ventilating, air conditioning (HVAC) maintenance. This synopses of proposed contract action is for planning purposes only and does not commit the government to pay for any information, issue a solicitation, or award a contract. No capability briefings will be performed at this time. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the government. Any costs incurred as a result of a response to this announcement shall be borne by the firm and will not be charged to the government for reimbursement. Interested firms are requested to provide information regarding their capability to satisfy these requirements not later than 15 days after the date of this notice. The solicitation number assigned is F08650-03-R-0033. It is anticipated that a Firm Fixed Price service contract for five years may be issued. This acquisition is set aside for competition among 8(a) firms in the state of Florida only. The SIC code is 1799, the NAICS is 238990 and the small business size standard is $12M. All respondents must include telephone number, zip, NAICS, and indicate that they are an 8(a) Florida firm entered into the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) https://www.ccr.dlis.dla.mil/ccrinq/scripts/search.asp . No Request for Proposal (RFP) is available at this time. Solicitation issue date of 30 May 03, past performance date 13 Jun 03 and proposal due date of 30 Jun 03 are all tentative dates. The geographical restriction of the competition will be limited to 8(a) certified firms located within the geographical area serviced by SBA within the State of Florida and other firms having a bona fide branch office located within the geographical boundaries of the relevant competitive areas. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. All responsible 8(a) sources in the state of Florida may submit an offer which will be considered by the 45th Space Wing.
