- Description
- Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineer Requirements (SABER), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract at Bolling AFB, Washington, D.C. Work will consist of a broad range of maintenance, repair, and minor construction work on real property at Bolling Air Force Base, Washington DC. The contract will be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract with firm-fixed-price delivery orders issued based on prices established within current Facilities Construction Cost Data by RS Means (Unit Price Book) utilizing current software version of 4Clicks Estimating Software System. . The performance period will be for one base year with four one-year option periods to be exercised at the Government's option. Solicitation will be issued under FAR 19.8 ?The Small Business Administration (SBA) ?8(a) Program?, under competitive 8(a) procedures. Solicitation is restricted to qualified SBA 8(a) firms in Region 3, to include Washington DC, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia & West Virginia. Responses will be accepted only from firms meeting the above criteria at the time of proposal receipt. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 237990, with a size standard of $28.5M. The source selection process to be utilized to evaluate offers is the Performance-Price Tradeoff technique in accordance with FAR 15.101, as supplemented through AFFARS. The guaranteed contract minimum for the life of the contract (to be awarded within the Base Year) will be $100,000.00, contingent upon the availability of funds in accordance with FAR 52.232-19, Availability of Funds for the Next Fiscal Year. The maximum contract value for the life of the contract is $25,000,000. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted on the Internet at http://www.eps.gov, on or about 30 May 03. The anticipated award date is 18 Sep 03. Paper copies will not be provided.
