Description

NA The government intends on negotiating solely with Advanced Acoustic Concepts (AAC), 200 13th Ave, Ronkonkoma, NY 11779 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 , avoidance of duplication of cost and unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency requirements. Thi s is a modification to contract DAAD05-01-C-0022 for the continued development of a fully functional system after Advanced Acoustic Concept (AAC) has built a prototype and demonstrated that it is capable of developing and delivering an integrated system th at could meet the requirements. Based on our market research, the microwave technology is innovative, unique, and has a high potential to meet our requirements. AAC is uniquely qualified as a sole source of supply since it has successfully built a protot ype and demonstrated the microwave technique. A full and open competition would lead to unacceptable delays, more risks, and duplication of cost to the Government. Vendors who are not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award will not be considered.
