- NA The work to be performed includes remodeling existing restroom facility into a storage room and remodeling a larger storage room into a restroom facility. All work performed by the contractor shall result in a complete, functional system. The site for the proposed work is building number 95, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. NOTE: A sample of the exterior window frames have been tested for paint containing lead using an XRF spectrum analyzer machine. Sample tests reveal a positive reading for LBP. Therefore, t he paint on the window frames is considered to contain lead. Surface preparation shall be carried out in accordance with Section 13283, LEAD-BASED PAINT (LBP) REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL. Building will be occupied during the contract. The magnitude of this pro ject is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. This will be a firm fixed-price lump sum type contract. This acquisition is unrestricted under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS ) for this acquisition is 236220. RFQ is to be issued on or about 28 May 03. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database in order to receive award. All requests for this RFQ should be in writing and reference DABJ01-03-Q-0 017. RFQ is to be issued on or about 28 May 03.
