- NA Solicitation Notice: This project has been assigned Invitation for Bid (IFB) number, DAHA33-03-B-0002. Project #WYTD 972003, Repair Roof for Avionics Building #127. The work consists of furnishing and performing all supervision, labor, equipment, materials , and incidentals in strict accordance with the Statement of work, Specifications and Drawings. The roof will be repaired at the 180th FW Ohio Air National Guard Base located at Toledo Express Airport, Swanton, Ohio. This is federal property and requires c ompliance with all environmental, industrial hygiene, and occupational safety regulations and laws. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $ 250,000 and $500,000. Performance period is 60 calendar days. The Standard Industrial Classification (S IC) code is 1542 and The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 235610, $12.0 M annual receipts. Bid, payment and performance bonds are required for this project. Solicitation is set aside 100% Hub Zone. Technical questions should be directed to Major John Cupp, 180th FW/CE, at 419-868-4009. Contracting questions should be addressed to SMSgt Cindy Martin, 180th FW/LGC, at 419-868-4142. The solicitation package is anticipated to be available on or about May 13, 2003 with a bid opening date of 12 June 2003, 9:00 AM EST. The solicitation package will be provided at a charge of $20. Checks should be made payable US Treasury. The statement of work, specifications and drawings will be on CD ROM in a PDF format. To receive the solicitation pa ckage send a request on company letterhead, with check to 180th FW, Attn: Base Contracting Office (Cindy Martin), 2660 S. Eber Road, Swanton, Ohio 43558-9645. All packages will be sent UPS ground. An organized site visit has been set for 21 May 2003 at 10: 00 AM EST. Potential bidders who are going to bid on this project to include potential subcontractors are advised to attend. This will be the only site visit for this project. Potential bidders who will be attending the site visit need to fax the base cont racting office, 419-868-4222, a list of all names who will be attending to include the company that they will be representing by 5:30 PM, 19 May 2003. All individuals who will be attending the site visit need to ensure they have a valid photo ID for access onto the military installation. A firm fixed-price contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as a result of this solicitation. The bid opening is scheduled for 9:00 AM on 12 June 2003, at the 180th FW, Base Civil Engineer?????? s Office, Ohio Air National Guard Base, 2660 South Eber Road, Swanton, OH 43558-9645. The anticipated award date is 30 June 2003. Request for the solicitation package should be submitted by 28 May 2003. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the 180th FW Base Contracting Office.
