- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation requesting proposals for services in accordance with the Statement of Work. A written solicitation will be issued at the site visit. STATEMENT OF WORK: In accordance with the enclosed Statement of Work, the contractor shall provide all tools, materials parts and equipment to make Building 387 located at the Anacostia Naval Station, Washington, D.C. 20373 suitable for equipment storage and soldier work environment for approximately 2000 soldiers. A SITE VISIT will be held at this location on 20 May 2003 at 10:00 a.m. To obtain admittance onto the Anacostia Naval Station, attendees must provide names, vehicles info, and social security numbers to Ms. Sydney M. Rinehart (202) 685-7849 prior to the site visit. All attendees should meet at 189 Poremba Court, Bldg. 350, Anacostia Naval Station. SW-1 Location of Work: Building 387 Anacostia Naval Station, Washington, D.C. 20373. SW-2 Principle of Work: Contractor will spot weld, mend or fabricate any metal or aluminum siding that has cracks, holes or visible damage that exceed 1 inch or greater. Additionally the building will be weather proofed and insulated to prevent rusting or corrosion. The repaired structures must prevent water/rain leakage. Enhance lighting and electrical fixtures. Repair overhead door to perfect working order. SW-3 Principle of Work: All submittals, samples, etc should be sent to USPFO, Purchasing & Contracting, 189 Poremba Court, SW, Building 350, Anacostia Naval Station, Washington, D.C. 20373. Attn: Ms. Sydney M. Rinehart. SW-4 Principal of Work: Any work done outside approval of the Purchasing and Contracting office will be at the expense of the contractor. Any information regarding repairs to include unforeseen estimates or incurred cost will be sent to the Purchasing and Contracting office in writing. SW-5 Installation: The contractor will furnish all materials, labor, equipment and tools needed to complete the project. The contractor must make a sight visit prior to the start of the contract, and will be responsible for cleaning up after during and aft er completion of the project. SW-6 Work Certification: Contractor must have ten years or more experience in this field, and be able to show references upon requests. SW-7 Environmental Concerns: The contractor is to furnish the name of the chemicals or any materials being used for this project, to the USPFO Purchasing & Contracting, 189 Poremba Court, SW, Building 350, Anacostia Naval Station, Washington, D.C. 20373. Attn: Ms. Sydney M. Rinehart for environmental office approval. SW-8 Term of Contract: The will have 45 days from the award date to complete project(Monday-Friday). SW-9: Any information regarding the repair of this facility that is not complete (through this statement of work) will be the responsibility of both parties (customer and contractor). Both parties will coordinate any actions regarding work or repairs (in w riting) to the purchasing and contracting office. Sw-10: 1LT Rashad-Ali will be the COR/POC for this project.
