- Description
- The Officer in Charge requires all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, training and management necessary to maintain and/or repair manual and electrical, wood and metal overhead rolling, garage type, rapid speed rolling canvas, industrial and storefront sliding doors, and bi-folding doors at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, Virginia and its annexes which are as follows: South Gate, Naval Medical Center, Scott Center and Saint Julien?s Creek Annex. The work identified to be provided by means of a combination Firm-Fixed Price and Indefinite Quantity type contract. The contract term shall be for a period of one year. Task Orders can be issued on the contract for a period not to exceed 60 months. The North American Classification System (NIACS) is 238350. The Invitation for Bids (IFB) will be posted on the NAVFACENGCOM Electronic Solicitation (E-SOL) Website and Plans and Specification will be made available on or about May 30, 2003. The estimated Bid Opening Date (BOD) is July 1, 2003. This solicitation will be available in electronic format only. All documents will be in the Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) file format via the internet. The free Acrobat Reader, required to view .pdf files can be downloaded for the Adobe website. The official access to the solicitation is via the Internet. The address is: http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. Contractors are encouraged to register for the solicitation when downloading from the NAVFAC E-Sol website. Only registered contractors will be notified by E-Mail when amendments to the solicitation are issued. The proposed procurement listed herein is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business Contractors. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered.
