Description
MODIFICATION OF May 13 2003: Solicitation/Request for Proposal will be posted on or about May 30 2003 on the NAVFAC E-Solicitation Website at http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil/. Proposals will be due 30 days later. It is each offeror's responsibility to check the web site for any amendments. BEGIN ORIGINAL POSTING1.0 BACKGROUND of NFESC Mission:Under the management oversight of the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), the Naval Facilities Engineering Service Center (NFESC) is supporting the Systems Commands (SYSCOMS) and the Naval Operating Forces with environmental services. These services include: environmental planning, pollution prevention (P2) planning and engineering, technology implementation, natural and cultural resources conservation, weapons systems planning, and environmental compliance. In addition, NFESC is providing occupational safety and health (OSH) support services. The level of environmental, safety, and occupational health (EOSH) support provided by NFESC, especially the support provided to systems acquisition program managers (PMs), is projected to grow in the near future. NFESC anticipates EOSH services will expand to support Navy-wide Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) programs. 2.0 SCOPE OF WORK The Contractor shall provide the personnel, equipment, materials, and facilities to respond to multiple requests under this scope of work. Work may be performed at various Navy, Marine Corps, and Department of Defense installations worldwide. Work may also be performed on non-Federal Government owned land in the United States and overseas. The contractor shall perform tasks in accordance with individual delivery order work statements. Work that may be ordered under this contract is divided into the following eight functional areas: 1) Environmental Planning/Programmatic Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Evaluation (PESHE), 2) Environmental Planning and Documentation, 3) Pollution Prevention (P2)Planning and Engineering, 4) Environmental Compliance Support , 5) Pollution Prevention (P2) Technology Implementation, 6) Occupational Safety and Health, 7) Hazardous Materials Management Program, and 8) Range Planning.

Address: Work may be performed at various U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, and Department of Defense installations worldwide. Work may also be performed on non Federal Government-owned land in the United States and overseas.
