- Sources Sought: Bechtel Nevada is seeking source that can perform Micro Precision inspection services of resolution masks to include the following: Provide non-contact inspection service in a clean environment for resolution masks for optical and X ray cameras. Range of overall dimensions on parts is from .5 mm to 2 mm thick, from 3mm wide to 30 mm wide, and from 25 to 75 mm long. Overall accuracy of measurement is +- 1.3 micrometers from 5 to 25000 micrometers overall and 1.6 micrometers from 25000 to 100,000 micrometers. Examples of inspections would be widths of 20 micrometer slots 250 micrometers wide spaced 2000 micrometers apart for 30 mm. Parts are fragile and surface being measured may not be touched or contaminated except on outer edges. Measurements must be NIST traceable and written or online inspection report must be supplied.
