- Description
- The MILSATCOM Joint Program Office (MJPO), HQ Space & Missile Systems Center, requests proposals to support the development and validation of technical requirements for the Transformational Communication MILSATCOM (TCM) Network. The MJPO anticipates awarding up to two Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) contracts to individual firms or teams responding to this solicitation, in accordance with FAR SubPart 35.016, Broad Agency Announcement (BAA), as modified for the Air Force's Program Research & Development Announcement (PRDA) process. Proposals shall be submitted by 20 June 2003 at 1600 hours, Pacific Daylight Time (PDT), addressed to: SMC/MCK, Attn: Charles Briggs, 2420 Vela Way, Suite 1467-A8, El Segundo, CA 90245-4659. This is a full and open competition. Small business offerors note that small business size standard NAICS 541710 (1,000 employees) applies. Offerors must be registered in the Department of Defense Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov/) to be eligible for contract award. Proposals must comply fully with this announcement. Proposals received after the specified cutoff date/time will not be evaluated or considered for award. The MJPO reserves the right to amend this PRDA solicitation and offerors should be alert for any amendments that may be published. This notice constitutes the only solicitation for this requirement; no RFP or other solicitation will be issued. Guidance on the PRDA process may be found in the attached Air Force Research Laboratory's "BAA and PRDA Industry Guide." The complete PRDA solicitation has been uploaded to the FedBizOps Web site as Attachment A to this announcement.
