Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, F04626-03-Q-0014, is issued as a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 01-07 and Defense DCN 04-26. The solicitation listed here is 100% small business set aside. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 5510. The associated Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 2426. The North American Industry Classification System is 321912 and the associated business size standard is 500 employees. If two (2) or more responsive, responsible and technically acceptable small or HUBZone businesses respond, this acquisition will be 100% set-aside for small business, if not, it will be unrestricted. This request for quotation consists of the following: Item 0001 ? Lumber 2 x 4 x 16, Douglas Fir, Grade 2 or Better, 832 each ; Item 0002 ? Lumber 2 x 6 x 16, Douglas Fir, Grade 2 or Better 512 each ; Item 0003 ? Lumber 2 x 6 x 18, Douglas Fir, Grade 2 or Better, 512 each ; Lumber 2 x 12 x 16, Douglas Fir, Grade 2 or Better 256 each ; Plywood, CDX ?, 4 x 8 Sheet, 352 each. Item(s) shall be delivered to Travis AFB, CA no later than 30 days after receipt of order. The following provisions and or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instruction contained in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items, paragraph (a) to this provision is completed as follows - Evaluation factors: Price. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items will be incorporated into any resultant Purchase Order by reference. FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Condition Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Dev.) include clauses (a)(8), (2), (3), (b)(1), (2), (3), (4), (5). DFARS 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program. DFARS 252.225-7002, Qualifying country sources as subcontractors. The CCR website is http://www.ccr.gov. Contractors are asked to submit their TAX ID number with their proposal. Quotes may be transmitted by e-mail or FAX to (707) 424-2712 and are to be received at the 60th Contracting Squadron no later than 4:30 PST on 27 May 2003.
