Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as Reference No. F6047031000100. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-13 & Class Deviation 2002-o0003. This is a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System code is 336212 (formerly SIC code 3715) at 500 employee size standard. CLIN 0001 53-Foot Trailer (See specs below), QUANTITY: 1, UNIT: Each, UNIT PRICE: __________, NET AMOUNT: ____________. CLIN 0002 45-Foot Trailer (See specs below), QUANTITY: 2, UNIT: Each, UNIT PRICE: __________, NET AMOUNT: __________. CLIN 0003 12% Federal Excise Tax Imposed on the First Retail Sale of Truck Trailers, QUANTITY: 1, UNIT: Each, UNIT PRICE (12% of the amount for which the article is sold): __________, NET AMOUNT: __________. CLIN 0004 Deliver Trailers to Bolling AFB DC 20032, QUANTITY: 3, UNIT: Each, UNIT PRICE: __________, NET AMOUNT: ____________. A complete price breakdown is required as part of your offer for each line item listed above. Also, the contractor shall be responsible for any FAR PROVISIONS: The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items and 52.212-3, Offerors Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items are hereby incorporated. Air ride suspension ? Interior lighting ? at least six (6) ceiling lights, rear recessed switch ? Rear exterior load lights ? 2 recessed flood lights, recessed switch in rear of trailer ? Waterproof storage compartment underneath trailer (moving van style) ? 16 feet by 4 feet cargo ramp, aluminum (included) ? Built-in ramp storage under trailer for cargo ramp ? Roll-up rear door ? Floor-to-ceiling logistic tracks (e-track cargo strap attachments on left and right interior walls) ? Three track rails; lower rail 18 inches above floor, next rail 36 inches above floor, and upper rail 54 inches above the floor
