Description
NA The Environmental Resource Management Branch of Texas National Guard (TXNG) requires site visits and surveys necessary for site assessment and for designing improvements for erosion problems for the following sites: Camp Maxey, Powderly, Tx; Camp Swift, B astrop, TX; Camp Bowie, Brownwood, TX; and Fort Wolters, Mineral Wells, TX. NAICS Code is 562910, SIC is 8713. To occur the contractor shall provide all labor, professional and technical personnel, facilities equipment, transportation and supplies necess ary to perform the following tasks at a minimum: Site visits and data acquisition, provide a program plan, and designs. More tasks are included in the Statements of Work provided in the Request for Proposal (RFP) package. Contractors will be evaluated a t a minimum based on the following factors listed in the order of greatest importance: 1) Experienced hydrologist on staff with experience in wildlife hydrology; 2) Previous experience in designing solutions to gully problems and incised streams that are natural and consider the natural form of the landscape and avoid the use of gabions and rip rap; 3) Previous experience working with the military (preferred but not mandatory); and 4) Price. After evaluation selection the top five (5) contractors must ma ke a half hour presentation outlining their experience stated in the evaluation factors with pictures and the hydrologist must be a part of this presentation. The successful contractor must be able to perform at all four (4) sites. Clauses 52.204-3 and 5 2.219-1 must be filled out in its entirety at time of proposal submission and Contractors MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database prior to award. A firm-fixed price service contract is expected. Period of performance will be 6 months from date of award. Request for Proposal Package will be available on or about 27 May 2003 and maybe obtained by contacting Luetica Grant at luetica.grant@tx.ngb.army.mil and technical questions may be addressed in writing to Ms. Keelin Schaf frath at keelin.schaffrath@tx.ngb.army.mil. Mandatory Pre-proposal site visits will be conducted for all sites at 10:00 am as follows: May 29th - Camp Bowie; May 30th ?????? Fort Wolters; June 5th ?????? Camp Maxey and June 6th ?????? Camp Swift. Pro posal Due date will be 30 days after date of issue. Only written requests will be honored.
