Description
NA The Assistant Secretary of the Army for Installations and Environment ASA (I&E) will conduct a Lodging Wellness Initiative Forum to assist in researching the potential for long-term partnerships with private industry to expedite capitalization for improvem ent of hotel rooms at up to 28 locations in the United States. The Forum will be held on May 20 at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center, 5000 Seminary Road in Alexandria, VA.. The forum will begin with formal presentations by senior Army officials that will p rovide an overview of current public private partnerships and the Army Lodging Wellness Initiative Concept. This will be followed by an interactive panel session and a site tour of an Army Lodging operation at Fort Belvoir, VA. The Forum will provide basi c concepts and information on the existing Lodging Program and seeks private sector feedback to assist in structuring specific future proposals. For room reservations at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center, interested participants should call 703-845-1010 a nd identify themselves as an Army Lodging Wellness Forum attendee. Onsite registration will begin at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, May 20 and the formal session will begin pr omptly at 9 a.m. and will end promptly at 2:45 p.m. Buses for the Fort Belvoir Lodging site tour will depart the hotel at 2:45 p.m. and return by 5:30 p.m. The registration fee to attend this forum and site tour is $175 per person. Conference materials, c ontinental breakfast, and lunch will be provided at the Forum and site tours.
