- NA Description: The US Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, intends to solicit for HVAC equipment services at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. The contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, supervision, materials, tools, and equipment to perform all c omprehensive inspections, preventive maintenance, testing, adjustment, and repair of heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and other equipment, controls, and utility connections. Contractor personnel working on R-123 chillers shall have proof of trainin g in required personal protective equipment (PPE), be certified for working with R-123, and shall be trained in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120 Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response and other OSHA and EPA regulations. Method of payment for thi s contract will be VISA. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 811412 and the Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 7623. The Small Business size standard is $6 Million. This solicitation is 100% set aside for Small Businesses. Quotes will be accepted from all interested responsible and responsive parties. This will be a firm fixed price type contract. Solicitation DACA41-03-T-0002 will be available on or about 21 May 2003. Quotes will be due on or about 19 June 2003. Hard copies will not be available. This solicitation is available by INTERNET ACCESS ONLY. All solicitation documents and any amendments will be posted to http://www.nwk.usace.army.mil/contract/contract.html. No paper copies will be provided . Interested parties are required to self-register their firm or office on the Internet and download the solicitation. Do not use a post office box address.
