NA This procurement is Unrestricted. JOB DESCRIPTION: Maintenance dredging of Suisun Bay Channel of approximately 165,000 cubic yards of material per dredging cycle to provide a project depth of minus 35 feet MLLW, plus 1 foot allowable overdepth, The dredg ed material will be disposed of in the designated Government-furnished upland disposal site at Sherman Island or Government-furnished open water disposal site at SF-16. At the Governments discretion, the contract may include an option for an additional dr edging cycle for the following (2nd) year. NAICS CODE: This procurement will be conducted under NAICS Code: 237990. The size standard for this NAICS Code is $17,000,000.00. Large businesses competing for this project must comply with the FAR 52.219-9 clause regarding the requirement for a subcontracting plan on the part of the work it intends to subcontract. The recommended goals for subcontracting are 43.8% for Small Business, 18.0% for Small Disadvantaged Business, 6.5% for Women-Owned Small Busine ss, 3.0% for HUBZone Small Business, 3.0% for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, and 12.9% for HBCU/MI. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However , interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Governments requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
