Description

The U.S Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for Installation of Approximately 3270 LF of vinyl sheet pile located at Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge, Manteo, NC. Work includes but is not limited to; installation of wooden capped vinyl piling bulkhead, backfilling , spreading, and compaction. This is not a small business set-aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 237990. The size standard is $28.5 million. The estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The tentative IFB issue date is on or about 06/11/03, with a 30 day closing. Requests for IFB shall be in writing, stating IFB number 401813B002, complete company name, point of contact, address, area code and phone number/fax number. A firm-fixed price contract will be issued, with a performance period of 90 days from the Notice To Proceed. The anticipated award date is 07/17/03. Telephone requests will not be accepted.
