- Presolicitation Notice Q7530-03-0010 Repaint Exterior of Percy-Lobdell Building Wetlands Acadian Cultural Center 314 St. Mary Street, Thibodaux, Louisiana 70301 The solicitation for this notice will be available for download at www.eps.gov (Fed Biz Opps) or http://ideasec.nbc.gov (no www), on or about May 29, 2003. The contractor shall provide all tools, materials, equipment, transportation, labor and supervision to repaint the exterior of the Percy-Lobdell building. Work includes, but is not limited to, preparing the exterior surface, miscellaneous repairs to all paintable surfaces, the priming and painting of all exterior windows, doors, shutters, ceilings, gates, staircases and handrails, including trim, transom units, wood awning supports, the stucco undersides of entrance canopy and steel supports at the Wetlands Acadian Cultural Center. Brick walls are not to be painted and are not a part of this contract. The work is to be performed at the Wetlands Acadian Cultural Center located at 314 St. Mary Street, Thibodaux, Louisiana, 70301. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures as outlined by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. The anticipated range of this project is expected to be between $25,000 and $100,000.00 with a period of performance of seventy-five (75) calendar days for all onsite work following the Notice to Proceed. Should any contract result from this solicitation the contractor shall be required to provide a Performance Bond (SF-25) and Payment Bond (SF-25A) equal to 100% of the award amount. The contractor shall also be required to provide a valid Certificate of Insurance. In accordance with FAR Part 19.10 this solicitation is being issued as unrestricted available for full and open competition with no small business set aside. The applicable NAICS code for this project is 235210 (SIC 1721) with a size standard of $12 million. A site visit for this project has been scheduled for Tuesday, June 10, 2003 at 10:00 AM. Interested offerors will meet at the address shown above. Quotation packages will be due to the Contracting Officer by June 24, 2003. Faxed quotation packages will not be accepted.
