Portable Guard Houses SOL DE-N00600-03-Q-1378 DUE 05/15/2003 POC Rodger O Young, Contract Specialist, (202) 433-4345; Darien Dicamillo Contracting Officer, (202) 433-2051 To obtain a copy of the solicitation go to: www.neco.navy.mil CHANGE: THE QUANITY HAS CHANGED TO 9 EACH ALL OTHER CONDITIONS REMAIN UNCHANGED DESC: (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and Subpart 13.3 as supplemented with additional information included In this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is N00600-03-Q-1378, REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document, and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 5450 Size Standard is 500 .The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, and transportation necessary to provide the 12 month rental or portable guard houses 4 Each, 5 feet x 6 feet IPO. Rental will include delivery and removal to the Visitor Control Center Washington Navy Yard DC. Building permits, site development, steps deck and ramps and electrical hookup 220/210 volt, alarms, footing anchors and insurance. Award will be based on lowest price available to Government. The FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror?s--Commercial Items (JUN 1999), applies to this acquisition and the following addenda to the provision paragraphs: (b)(4) In addressing the technical portion of this RFQ, .An SF 1449 is not included in the solicitation. (ix) Refer to provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation--Commercial Items (JAN 1999): the evaluation factors are technical approach, and price. Award will be based on technical acceptability, and lowest price.
