Description

The Social Security Administration, (SSA), intends to negotiate solely with Fortran Corporation, for the upgrade of the voice mail system at the Southeast Program Service Center, (SEPSC), 2001 Twelfth Avenue, Birmingham, Alabama, from CX3 to CX Enterprise service, under the authority of FAR 6.302. Fortran Corporation currently provides the maintenance and support services for the F9600 XL PBX and all the ancillary systems. Due to warranty coverage on the PBX and ancillary systems, only Fortran Corporation can perform upgrades on components of the system. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
