69 -- CONTRACTOR OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF SIMULATORS (COMS) FOR PROGRAM MANAGER, TRAINING SYSTEMS (PMTRASYS), SOL M67854-03-R-8005 POC Contract Specialist ? Kathrine D. Description: The Marine Corps Systems Command, Program Manager for Training Systems (PMTRASYS) intends to Recompete the CONTRACTOR OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF SIMULATORS (COMS) for training devices located at the following locations Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, NC, Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, NC, Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA and Marine Corps Reserve Centers located at Marietta, GA, Fort Detrick, MD, and Camp Upsher, VA. Secret clearance is required. Contract award is planned for Sept 2003. The draft RFP and all supporting documentation will be available electronically at http://www.marcorsyscom.usmc.mil/sites/pmtrasys/eastcoastcoms.asp.There are no hard copies available for distribution. The estimated date for posting the RFP is on or before 15 May 2003. The services will be acquired using 100% set-aside for Small Business. There will be a mobilization period followed by yearly options. There will be a pre-proposal conference combined with a site survey in June 2003. IT IS CRITICALLY IMPORTANT THAT THIS WEB SITE BE FREQUENTLY ACCESSED IN ORDER FOR THE PARTICIPANTS IN THIS ACQUISITION TO STAY CURRENT, AS THIS IS THE ONLY MEANS BY WHICH THE GOVERNMENT WILL PROVIDE UPDATES ON THIS ACQUISITION. Interested and qualified parties are requested to submit response by close of business 8 May 2003. Responses must include but are not limited to the following: 1) technical and managerial experience with the operation and maintenance of multi-purpose range complexes; 2) technical experience with Marine Corps related training devices (including hardware and software maintenance); 3) integrated logistics support experience, including experience with managing multiple sites; 4) past performance on Government contracts of like or similar nature; 6) cage code, establishment code (SIC 8711) and business size should be included.
