- This notice announces the selection of offerors under Phase I of a two-phase procurement for Common Services for Borrowers (CSB) for the U.S. Department of Education (ED), Federal Student Aid (FSA). Under Phase II, proposals will only be accepted from ACS Education Solutions, AT&T Government Solutions, and SALLIE MAE, Inc. However, others, especially small businesses, are encouraged to contact the three prime contract offerors about subcontracting opportunities. CSB will be an integrated solution for servicing, consolidation, and collections functions for federally insured student aid obligations. It is anticipated that the Phase II solicitation will be released by May 23, 2003. Phase I offerors selected to proceed to Phase II are: 1) ACS Education Solutions, One Curie Court, Rockville, MD 20850, POC: William J. The above information is provided in accordance with FAR 5.206 so that small business concerns, small disadvantaged business concerns, woman-owned small business concerns and small disadvantaged veteran-owned business concerns may contact the Phase II offerors regarding subcontracting opportunities.
