Description

NA This is NOT an Invitation For Bid (IFB) nor a Request For Proposals(RFP). The solicitation number associated with this announcement was required by the system. There is not and will not be a document associated with this number. Under PL 98-369 (CICA), this Sources Sought Market Survey is seeking to identify suppliers for Type II, Class II Heater Assembly, Combustion Vehicular Compartment (Heater Assembly), in accordance with Source Control Drawing (SCD) #12474854 and MIL-PRF-62550D(AT), dated May 30, 19 97, NSN 2540-01-396-2826 currently being procured noncompetitively. The heater is a personnel heater used in combat vehicles including the M1, Bradley and M113. In order to become an approved source for the Heater Assembly, offerors must produce and succ essfully pass the the First Article Test Requirement specified in Table V, Classification of Inspections in MIL-PRF 62550D and the requirements of SCD #12474864. A minimum of three heaters will be needed to conduct the testing. Interested sources must be able to successfully complete all Table V First Article Test Requirements and meet all of the SCD requirements. The Government shall not incur any costs for this testing or any retesting that may be be required by the contractor. In order to be consider ed eligible for consideration for this requirement, interested contractors must contact Mr. David Florka (florkad@tacom.army.mil), Mr. Robert Kovach (kovachr@tacom.army.mil) or Mr. Thomas Godden (goddent@tacom.army.mil) for information concerning the quali fication process.
