Description

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 2 Albuquerque, New Mexico is requesting proposals on solicitation number 201813R008 to furnish all effort and materials to construct and remove coffer dams, installing outlet works, repair/re-grade dike, demolish and remove 24 to 30" outlet pipe, reclaim disturbed areas, clearing and grubbing, stockpile topsoil, excavation, erosion control, and related miscellaneous. The project is located at Champion Lake Dike on County Road 417, Trinity River National Wildlife Refuge, Liberty County, Texas. The price estimated price magnitude is $500,000 to $1,000,000. The total performance period is expected to be 180 calendar days or less. Proposal evaluation will be on Best Value process (Technical, Past Performance, and Price). The project is solicited unrestricted full and open competition. Both small and large businesses may submit proposals. The solicitation will be available on or about June 9, 2003. Requests for proposal packages must be by FAX 505-248-6451, attention Monica Huerta. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Copies of the request for proposal package may also be obtained at http://ideasec.nbc.gov and http://www.fedbizopps.gov . The solicitation includes bid package, specifications, and plans. Please insure that that you have a complete package if you obtain it from the web sites indicated. The Government reserves the right to sole source this solicitation to well qualified contractor(s) who are on the U.S. Small Business Administration's 8a program and are within approximately 100 miles from the project.
