- NSN: 3040-01-159-4818 PR: 3040-01-159-4818 Connecting Link, Rigid. This is a Navy Identified Critical Safety Item (CSI). Approved sources are: Tek Precision Co. Ltd. (65780) P/N 70400-22258-043 and Sikorsky Aircraft Corp (78286) P/N 7400-22258-043. Qty 99 ea to be delivered to AQ5 Stockton CA 625 days after date of award. Qty 171 ea to be delivered to SNC New Cumberland PA 625 days after date of award. Item 5001 maximum option quantity for NSN: 3040-01-159-4818 option qty 135 each. Item 9906 1 TE Government First Article Test (FAT) 320 days. See clauses I44 and I44a for information concerning the FAT requirement. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. See Notes 12 and 26. The solicitation will be available in FebBizOpps on its issue date of 06/06/03. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. Proposed procurement contains a 50% option for increased quantities. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Approved sources are 65780 and 78286. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
