Description

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Atlantic Marine Center, Norfolk, Virginia has a requirement for Marine Diesel Fuel, for delivery, FOB Destination, to the NOAA Ship RON BROWN by pipeline in Reykjavik, Iceland. Delivery to be on or about June 13, 2003, with an estimated quantity of 261 MT (80,000 U.S. gallons). Proposed price per metric ton shall include all applicable pipeline charges. . This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcements constitutes the ONLY solicitation. OFFERS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Quotations should be submitted by June 3, 2003 to the U.S. Dept. Of Commerce/NOAA/Eastern Admin Support Center, Acquisition Management Division, 200 Granby Street, Room 815, Norfolk, VA 23510-1624, ATTN: Linda Jacobs. Quotations may be faxed to: (757) 441-3786. Reference Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number EA1330-03-RQ-0113 on your quotation. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial applies to this acquisition, there are no addenda to the provision. Provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items must be submitted with your offer. Clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms & Conditions-Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms & Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or ExecutiveOrders-Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. All responsible sources may submit a offer which shall be considered by the agency. Award will be made to the lowest responsible, responsive offeror who can meet the specific requirements contained in the CBD announcement and is most advantageous to the government considering price and other price related factors. Award will be made on June 4, 2003.
