- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F04700-03-T-0048. The solicitation is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-06 and Defense Acquisition Change Notice (DCN): 20020426. The Business Size Standard is $6.0 Million; North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 442210; Standard Industrial Classification: 4581, and is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. This acquisition is the Purchase and Installation of Foam and Carpet for the Executive C-135C Aircraft and includes Contract Line Item Line (CLIN) 0001: Federal Aviation Administration Regulation (FAR) 25.853 rated 1/2" Aircraft Approved Foam Padding; CLIN 0002: FAR 25.853 rated Aircraft Approved Carpet, Color Scheme: Blue, Ounce weight should be able to withstand heavy wear and tear; and CLIN 0003: Installation of the Foam Padding and Carpet listed in CLINS 0001 and 0002. Place of delivery and acceptance is at Edwards AFB, CA with F.O.B Destination. CONTRACTORS MUST COMPLY WITH DFARS 252.204-7004, REQUIRED CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (MAR 2001). The following provisions and clauses apply: 52.252-2, Clauses Incorporated by Reference. This contract incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. Upon request, the contracting officer will make their full text available.
