Description
Air Force Research Laboratory, Propulsion Directorate (AFRL/PRKB ), amends the current announcement for the clarification only of Page Limitation and to add Category Definitions. The time/due will not be extended. In addition to the requirements in the original announcement, the following paragraph (d) to SECTION C, para 2.b. ?Page Limitation? the following paragraphs are stated in the PRDA and will remain unchanged. This information is cited to clarify questions asked during the Pre-Proposal Conference Briefing on page limitations. Page Limitation: The technical/management volume page limitation is dependent upon the type of contract proposed. The Government shall not consider pages in excess of the limitations specified below. The page limitations are as follows:(1)ID/IQ type contract ? Part I of the technical/management volume (the Basic ID/IQ contract) is limited to 100 pages. Part II of the technical/management volume (Individual Delivery Order(s)) is limited to fifty- (50) pages for each delivery order proposed. (2) CPFF or CR type contracts ? The technical/management volume is limited to sixty- (60) pages. a. The stated page limitations include all information, e.g., indices, photographs, foldouts, appendices, attachments, etc. The page limitation does not include the offeror?s proposed statement of work and/or statement of objective. SECTION D, BASIS FOR AWARD, Proposals will be classified into three categories of I, II and III: Upon completion of evaluation, proposals will be classified into one of the following three categories: Category I: Well conceived, scientifically and technically sound proposals pertinent to program goals and objectives, and offered by a responsible contractor with the competent scientific and technical staff and supporting resources needed to ensure satisfactory program results. Proposals in Category I are recommended for acceptance and normally are displaced only by other Category I proposals. Category II: Scientifically or technically sound proposals requiring further development and are recommended for acceptance, but are at a lower priority than Category I. Category III: Proposals not technically sound or do not meet agency needs.
