Description
General: The National Park Service, Department of Interior, is looking for HubZone and 8(a) certified construction firms having the capability and interest in performing the work described below. A solicitation is not being issued at this time, as the Government is conducting market research to locate interested, qualified contractors. Prospective offerors desiring to conduct business with DOI are requested to register at the National Business Center. Response to this notice must be received timely to be considered. Title of Project: Upgrade Utilities and Campgrounds Description: The work of this contract consists of rehabilitation of the Seawall Campground, to included restrooms, campsites, roads, utilities, rehabilitation of the sewage system at Harden Farm, and rehabilitation/replacement of facilities at Sieur de Monts, Seawall picnic area, Sand Beach, and Seawall campground. Type of Procurement: A negotiated firm-fixed price contract will be awarded requiring submission of both a technical and a price proposal. The government will consider an offeror's technical capability in comparison to its price. Interested Contractors must provide a letter from their bonding company verifying the contractor's current bonding capacity. This letter must verify a minimum bonding capability of $5,000,000.00. This should consider all current construction jobs under contract, as well as known future jobs. Contractors are also asked to submit a technical resume outlining their company's qualifications as relevant to the above mentioned project.
