Description

Naval Air System Command (NAVAIR) Headquarters intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price contract with Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC) for fabrication of seventeen (17) Wing Center Sections (WCS), for the EA-6B aircraft. The EA-6B wing consists of the outer wing panel (composed of a right and left outer panel and WCS). The WCS is the primary structural member and attaching point, which strengthens and extends the airframe life. NGSC is the designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the EA-6B and is the only known source that has the necessary aircraft drawing and schematics, technical qualification and depot/rework capabilities to support and meet EA-6B program schedule.
