Description

NA NA Description: The Government intends to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract for Interconnecting Boxes, NSN: 5975-01-072-4464, and Microwave Circuits, NSN: 5840-01-072-0422. The contract will be awarded to M/A-COM Inc. of Lowell, Massachusett s 01853, the only ??????approved source of supply?????? listed on the source control drawings for these items. These drawings lack the fabrication and testing data that another source would need to manufacture these items. M/A-COM is the only source capa ble of meeting the Government??????s requirements, because it is the only qualified source capable of manufacturing and delivering these items. There are no commercial or non-developmental items that can fulfill these requirements. A solicitation will be issued under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 ???? (2) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by this Agency. The U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM) has established the Interactive Interagency Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) website to allow electronic transmittal of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Invitations for Bid (IFB s) from CECOM to Industry. All parties interested in doing business with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send and receive information from the Interactive Business Opportunity Page at http://abop.monmouth.army.mil). Upon accessing this web page, cl ick on CECOM Business Opportunities, and then hit go. Registration for a user and password will only be necessary when you are considering the submission of proposals to CECOM through the IBOP.
