Description
The Government requires engineering, technical, logistic, field engineering and program management services in support of various Air Defense & Missile Systems and Aviation projects. Tasking will consist of planning, coordinating, conducting and otherwise supporting analysis; developing and integrating various technologies; providing design, fabrication, test/evaluation support; and providing program and logistical support for a multitude of projects specifically related to aviation, air defense, and missile systems. Air Defense & Missile Systems consist of those systems capable of providing low- and medium-altitude air defense. Missile systems consist of those systems capable of providing air-to-air, air-to-ground, ground-to-air and ground-to-ground missiles. These systems incorporate various missiles, rockets and small arms weapons as a means for providing defense against h ostile military threats; they comprise technologies such as Infrared systems, LASER devices, fire control computers, acoustic sensors, radars, and communication systems. Aviation systems include components and systems of rotary wing aircraft. These may include various missile launching systems, small arms weapons, and avionics; they comprise technologies such as Infrared systems, LASER devices, fire control computers, acoustic sensors, radars, and communication systems. The successful offeror(s) will be required to provide various development, installation and field support services, as well as related products such as trainers/simulators, to maintain and improve Air Defense & Missile systems, and Aviations systems capabilities and operation. Accordingly, the successful offeror(s) must demonstrate past performance that includes substantial experience and expertise in the te chnical areas these systems encompass in addition to detailed knowledge of the respective systems. It is anticipated that this effort will be for a five-year period. The Government may make multiple contract awards although the right is reserved to make a single award. Contracts awarded are anticipated to be indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type contracts that will allow for placement of both cost reimbursement and fixed price task orders. The applicable NAICS Code is 541330 and the size standard is $23M annual revenues.
