Description
U.S. Government Seeks Sources for Leasing Internal Revenue Service Palm Springs, CA Project No. 0CA0861 Summary Requirement: The General Services Administration desires to lease approximately 6,357 rentable square feet of office space yielding a minimum of 5,528 BOMA usable square feet for the Internal Revenue Service to house personnel, furnishings, and equipment, together with a minimum of three (3) reserved on-site parking spaces. Building Requirement: The General Services Administration will use the Quality Solicitation for Offers to satisfy this requirement in a office building in a section of the city that is professional and prestigious in appearance, well maintained, of modern design, and of sound and substantial construction. The requested space must be fully serviced, and in a building capable of being altered to meet the Government?s needs and security requirements as well as requirements under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The building must conform to the seismic requirements for new construction of the current (1999) edition of the Uniform Building Code (UBC), or the 1976 Edition for existing buildings. The building offered must not contain sprayed on fire-proofing or acoustical treatment containing asbestos. Location / Delineated Area: The building offered must be located within the Business Area of Palm Springs, California, within the following boundaries: North: Vista Chino Drive East: El Cielo South: Ramon Road West: Palm Canyon Drive Lease term: The term is for five (5) years, 2 years firm. Occupancy Date: Occupancy is required 9/1/03. Expressions of interest should include the following: 1. Building name and address. 2. Rentable square feet and rate per rentable square foot. 3. Confirm BOMA Method of Measurement, usable yield for available space by floor and building common area factor. Owners and Authorized Agents: Brokers and agents may represent prospective landlords, but any properties or proposals submitted by the brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence they are authorized to represent the building?s ownership.
