Description

Solicitation/Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, a supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation reference number F48608-03-Q0017 is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-12, effective 29 January 2003. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 335312, Power Generators Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1,000 employees and the Standard Industrial Classification Number is 3621. The proposed contract listed here is Set-Aside: 100% for Small Business. All responsible sources may submit a quotation. THIS IS A BRAND NAME REQUISITION AS PRESCRIBED IN FAR SUBPART 6.302-1(c) The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). 90 CONS/LGCAS, F.E. Warren AFB, WY has a requirement for the purchase one 300KW DFCB Cummins/Onan Standby Diesel Generator Package, 120/208 VAC, 60Hz equipped with: Standard Weather-Protective Housing with Residential Muffler (F183), UL 2200 Listed (L090), Heavy Duty Cummins NTA 855 Diesel Engine, 125 Degree C Rise Brushless Generator (B252-12 Lead Broad Range), Radiator with Blower Fan (50 Degree C), (KM 50) 1000 Amp Main-Line Circuit Breaker (Mounted on left hand side of control panel), Power Command 2100 Series Control Panel (H643), Meters-AC Output Analog (H606), Engine Generator Safeties, 24 VDC Starting System (A334), Battery Charging Alternator (A333), Fuel/Water Separator (C127), Engine Exhaust Manifold-Dry (E083), Steel Skid Base (F159), Low Coolant Level Shutdown (H389), (H556) Coolant Heater, 208/240/480 40 Degree F minimum, (D041) Normal Duty Air Cleaner, (L028) Standard 1 Year Warranty or Better, 24 Hour Fuel Supply (600 Gallon, 0159-1486-25) UL 142 Double-Walled Base tank, and initial fill of oil and antifreeze.
